Recently opened, Fillet & Bone is a food emporium located in a centuries’ old butchers’ shop in the heart of historic Chipping Campden, selling rare-breed meat, fresh Cornish fish, fresh seasonal vegetables, artisan cheeses and amazing deli goods. Their products use up to 99% organically certified ingredients, and we wanted to show this with the photography. Marion needed some images of her beautiful ceramics as part of an application for an artist in residence position. Her ceramics are fired using techniques including Raku, Saggar and Smoke firing which gives them a range of soft earth tones and textures, which I wanted to capture in the photos.

I needed some wood wool packaging for the shots – a quick call to www.woodwooluk.com and the next day I had a beautifully packaged box of clean dust free sustainably sourced wood wool. The hampers are looking great!
I believe that smaller businesses should be able afford great images of their fare. Too often food photography is thought of as being prohibitively expensive, complicated and beyond the budgets of smaller producers.
Good lighting and attention to composition and detail can make all the difference to how a room looks when you photograph it. To make a room look inviting is the key – details like straight walls and good angles can lift a room from looking just ordinary to looking great.
I met Rupert at The Cotswold Table food market – he wanted a selection of images to show how versatile the fruit vinegars are – from aperitifs through to desserts.
This recently refurbished cotswold stone cottage is set in a stunning location beneath Broadway Tower. The website was being built by rileyandthomas.co.uk, and they needed photography to complement the site. I spent a day at the cottage capturing the luxurious finish and fine attention to detail.

I met Paula at a social media workshop – she was using Twitter and Facebook to showcase these great serviced apartments in Cheltenham. As well as social media, she needed good photos for sites such as laterooms.com and booking.com The apartments are clean, airy and well decorated, which she wanted the photos to reflect.
With the launch of their new website, the team at Morris & Brown wanted to showcase their fresh and imaginative food with some great photography. We worked together to show a selection of their lunch tea dishes, as well as the beautifully designed, light filled cafe.

This luxury bed and breakfast in the heart of a Cotswolds had just been refurbished and Bridget wanted photos of the rooms and living areas for her new website.
Situated right in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, the White Hart has a cosy bar, a restaurant and five beautiful rooms. Mark and Janine wanted photography to reflect the stunning look and show the attention to detail they have put into the rooms.

Lucy was helping Ideal Eyes with their social media campaign, and wanted photography showing their range of 2 for 1 offer on designer on frames. We worked together to produce these simple but striking images for the campaign.
Double glazing samples and door furniture – make them look good! Well, it’s not the most exciting of product to photograph. I’ve worked with Customade on a number of occasions, and they have always been pleased with the images I have produced for their catalogues.
Even plumbing tape has to look good! I took these shots for Bruce Hutt at GTG Engineering for him to use on his website and packaging. Again, the importance of a clean white background can’t be underestimated in how well an image comes across.
